The team behind Toraphene have found a way to embed graphine into bio-polymers to create a serious biodegradable contender to synthetic plastic.

Bio-polymers have a reputation for poor strength, flexibility and resistance to light, moisture, and oxygen. By incorporating naturally occurring (tough, flexible, light, high resistance) graphine, Toraphene products are transforming the packaging and production industries.

When Toraphene came to us they were lost in a brand sea of eco, green and blue, turtle friendly, bio-plastic worthiness. We switched the focus from problem to their groundbreaking solution.

The objectives of this extensive project were to create a brand identity to carry Toraphene forward into the future. A future inspired by the initial graphine embedded bio-polymer with limitless possibilities for expansion.

By developing a brand architecture strategy we set the foundations from which to pioneer innovation and created new terminology through our FutureDictionary™ work to make the invisible, visible.

We reframed high-performance as an all aspects measurement of both outcomes and perpetual contribution to our biosphere; to raise Toraphene’s profile above the discredited bio-polymer/bio-plastic fray

…and redefined nature as the original innovator with 4.6 billion years of R&D experience.
